Urban intervention

Nitra’s city square used to suffer because of it’s scale and emptiness. As a team of local architects consisting of Veronika Mezei-Očadlíková, among others and supervised by Milan Csanda, we designed a number of modular units, that provide many functions, that were previously missing in this public space, break up the megalomaniac scale of the square and also remind of the city block, that had to be torn down to make place for the new square. Photos were provided by Roman Oravec, Nitra municipality.
